We all saw a sudden uprise trend in the Acquisitions and Sales of Crypto related domain names over the last 2 years.
Almost all the leading sales were related to Crypto in 2017-2018. For example, CryptoWorld.com sold for $195,000 in 2018, CryptoBank.com sold for $125,000 in 2017, CryptoRate.com sold for $99,888 at the end of 2017 and so on.
I am talking about domain names containing the keywords:
Crypto
Coin
Bit
Wallet
Chain
ICO
and few other crypto related terms, etc.
Now the question in 2020 is, is the demand still there ?
Anyone noticing any increase in their offers/traffic, also is it worth holding them for another couple of more years….
As for myself, seen quite a fall in their demand starting 2019 till now. 2017-2018 seemed to be the golden era for them.
Maybe its just me, because at a recent survey I did at a social website, 74% of people said Yes its worth to keep invested and keep renewing the Crypto related domain names. While 26% of people voted No, we should get rid of them going forward.
Here are some more views from the fellow domain name experts:

The majority of the ICO market has seen its leverage drop substantially, and as we’re already in the second half of the year, the summer months are expected to be brutal.
If you have crypto domains and are prepared to “HODL” keep in mind that the market might not recover at the end of the year.
