Are these the best times for ccTLDs sales ? What is a ccTLD ?
Lets explore this further.
ccTLDs stand for Country code top-level domains, they are native to each country and almost all countries have their own unique assigned ccTLD, for example, UK has .co.uk/.uk and even USA has one – .us (although .com is majorly used across the United States).
As per Moz.com, “Country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) are the best way to show search engines in which country you do business”.
I totally agree with them, a ccTLD is assigned to a country in the world, so if you are doing business that is Local and related to Your own country, you should and must use a ccTLD.
Talking about the ccTLD domains reported sold for Highest prices, .de has one Sale reported to be above $1 million mark, and that is of kredit.de sold for $1,169,175 and .co.uk has sales of cruises.co.uk/cruises.co.uk reportedly sold for $1,099,798.
